The LWML Macomb South Zone Fall Rally will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 38900 Harper Avenue, Clinton Township, MI.  There will be a bible study leaded by Kathryn Goettsch.  Ingathering items for Gifts for All God’s Children (toiletry items for children) and items for Operation Layette (see Opportunities for Participation for items)  will be collected.  Registration is at 9:30 a.m.  There will be a $7 registration fee payable at the door.

Beyond our Wildest Dreams.  Welcome Mike Redford serving as the Mission Advancement Representative for Wellspring Lutheran Service Foundation at Christ Our Savior, 14175 Farmington Road, Livonia on Saturday, October 26 at 9:30 a.m.  In-Gathering Items:  Anything to support the children and families in metro Detroit.  Hygiene products, cleaning supplies, diapers, baby wipes & school supplies.  Gift cards are really most welcome so families can get what they need.  Financial gifts to the Wellspring Lutheran Foundations are encouraged as well.  Go to Wellspringlutheran.com and look for the donate icon.

Shadow of the Cross Women’s League is sponsoring a rummage dale at Shadow of the Cross Lutheran Church located at 20805 Middlebelt Road, Farmington Hills, MI.  Thursday and Friday, October 31/November 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Bake Sale and Bag Sale.  Lunch will be available.

The Lutheran Center Association of Detroit invites you to a festival of hymns for the Reformation and All Saints’ Day celebrating the 500th anniversary of the first Lutheran hymnals and highlights the hymnody of the Lutheran Church from over the past 500 years.  If interested in singing with a mass choir for selected verses of some of hymns, contact Jacob Ferns at jferns.organ@gmail.com.   Sunday, November 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Guardian Lutheran Church located at 24544 Cherry Hill, Dearborn, MI.  A free-will offering will be collected at the doors and a brief reception will follow the program.

The Luke Clinic Annual Compassion Event and Fundraiser – Embodied – Saturday, November`9, 2024 will be held at Christ our Savior Lutheran Church located at 14175 Farmington Road, Livonia, MI from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. .  All proceeds will benefit the work of The Luke Clinic in Detroit and Flint providing free prenatal and infant care t vulnerable women and children.  Click Embodied 2024: Registration - November 9, 2024 (qgiv.com)
